OK so I heard about some party in the weekend where some friends got to hang with people who I hope I am never unlucky enough to encounter.
From what I was told their discussion centred mainly on Grandmother's money and the types of vehicles that these idiots parents drove. Oh, and the 'allowances' that these people receive. Apparently these are important discussions to have. These people also actually call their respective parents 'Mother' and 'Father', yes like we are in effing 19th Century England. I kinda wish I was invited so I could vomit all over these people who no doubt would have made sure to make me feel like an illegitimate human owing to my lack of obvious wealth and the fact my parents couldn't give a toss about the car that they drive. The whole time the story was being relayed to me I had the image of a giant David Williams from Little Britain screaming BITTY.
It actually disgusted me to hear about this conversation, like I got really super angry. Mainly because the fact that there were 7 people sitting around actively participating in this conversation and no one seemed particularly concerned that the conversation was sickeningly superficial, unashamedly privileged and elitist. It also points to the fact that these conversations are normative which is you know just ugh. These people are also University educated which you know, SHOULD indicate some level of intelligence (of this, I am already dubious, even more so now).
Who actually gives a crap about this stuff?! Grandmamman probably hates these kids, personally I'm hoping she writes these ingrates out of her will.
As a disclaimer which I don't strictly think is necessary this is not a hate rant aimed at people who are wealthy in general. Just the fucktards that think that having money, going to private school, getting allowances, driving Daddy's Jag and evaluating how to invest their trust funds is all that life is. YUCK.
I know that the rich kids of this world are pretty easy fodder, but seriously if this is the absolute nonsense some of them actually think is important, one could hardly argue that any shit they get isn't warranted.
That's because I did lots of words again... Sorry.
Also I know I didn't post in the weekend so I will be post-crazy this week to catch up. I think and inspiration board type thing would be good?
